If you like wildlife, you will certainly like the new Bing screensaver available today for download on Windows computers, namely the Bing Australia Cute & Charming pack. It is based on a series of high-resolution images that present animals in their natural habitats from all over Australia.

Bing imagery has been used to deliver great themes for the owners of Windows 7 computers. However, the new software is meant to do a bit more than that.

Just as its name suggests, the screensaver is meant mainly for the sensitive kind. You will have a look at animals and their cubs, at frogs, and at a camouflaged tiger, among others.

The screensaver was released with support for other Windows flavors as well, including Windows XP and Windows Vista. The same as the aforementioned themes, the screensaver is available for free.

“Bing Australia's background imagery is always inspiring, yet quite often it is also charming. We've put together a screensaver pack that celebrates the animals that have featured as Bing daily homepage images,” a recent post on the Bing Australia blog reads.

“From a cheeky hippo to an Aussie roo to a pair of curious frogs to a camouflaged tiger, this free screensaver pack has it all. Also featured in the 'Cute & Charming' themed pack is a motherly meerkat and her pups.”

The new ‘Cute & Charming' themed pack was designed to work on Windows 7; Windows Vista and Windows XP with Service Pack (SP) 2. It also requires Windows Internet Explorer 6 or later to be installed on the computer (or Firefox 3.0 or later).

The screensaver’s requirements also include 512 megabyte (MB) RAM or higher, 500 megahertz (MHZ) processor or higher, and 50 megabyte (MB) of free hard drive space, the Bing AU Product Team explains.

The new Bing Australia Cute & Charming Screensaver pack is available for download from Softpedia as well, via this link.
