The official release of the latest line of avast! products has been announced. The list of the most important changes in the new version, 6.0.1367, has not been modified at all, except for a line vaguely informing of “various other security and stability related fixes”.

However, there were reports about Autosandbox feature not working correctly with files on the system drive and some lagging with Flash games on Google Chrome. These problems seem to have been eliminated with the latest release of avast! as users already running the new build reported no trouble.

The set of improvements encompassed by this build includes a Script Shield component functional with Google Chrome, all versions of Firefox and Adobe Reader. Moreover, the sandbox component has been strengthened in so it should no longer cause stability issues. As mentioned in our previous blog, avast! Market is now a component of the user interface of the suite.

You can get the latest build through the in-product updater for all avast! editions: Free, Pro or Internet Security.
