In tandem with the release of OS X 10.7.3, Apple pushed out Remote Desktop 3.5.2 Client, an update that the company recommends all Apple Remote Desktop clients as it addresses issues related to Screen Sharing.

According to a support document that details the purpose of Apple Remote Desktop client 3.5.2, the new release “improves Screen Sharing authentication when using Kerberos, or when authenticating as a user with no password.”

The update further fixes issues controlling a remote computer with two displays. Specifically, version 3.5.2 targets systems that have the primary display on the right.

You can either install Apple Remote Desktop 3.5.2 via Software Update from the Apple menu on your Mac, or you can do it manually by downloading the bits via the link below. The download is 3.75 MB in size and requires Mac OS X 10.6 or later.
