Apple has released a new version of its Configurator application for Mac OS X, improving redemption of VPP codes when installing App Store apps, as well as multiple other changes from a previous version (for users who haven’t updated in a while).

Apple Configurator 1.4.3 makes it easier to redeem VPP codes when installing App Store apps, according to the release notes offered by the Cupertino giant. Installing paid software from the App Store requires these redemption codes which stem from the Volume Purchase Program for Education or Business.

The Mac maker also points out that the new version “also includes the following changes from Apple Configurator 1.4.2.” These changes are listed below in the changelog for Apple Configurator 1.4.2.

To download Apple Configurator, you need OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) or later installed.
