The hugely popular avian “warfare” game that shoot to fame on Apple’s iPhone for which it was launched in December 2009, has now landed on Windows.
Angry Birds is now available for download on Windows 7 (both RTM and Service Pack 1), Windows Vista and Windows XP (SP2 or SP3).
There are no less than three flavors of the title up for grab, with free trial versions offered to gamers.

At the time of this article, Windows gamers could buy (aprox. $5 for each title) or download the free trial of Angry Birds and Angry Birds Rio for the PC.
Angry Birds Seasons is not available at this point in time, but the promise from Rovio is that this particular flavor of the game will also be offered to customers soon. Then again, this is a special version of the game.

Angry Birds Rio is obviously a game intimately connected with the Rio animation that hit cinemas around the world earlier this year.
This particular version of the game is influenced by the Rio movie, featuring caged birds which users will need to help break free.
“Angry Birds Seasons is the gift that keeps on giving! Get into the spirit of Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, St.Patrick's Day, Easter and more upcoming seasonal varieties of Angry Birds. These special episodes offer more challenging levels of pig-popping action and golden eggs to discover,” Rovio added.
