Owners of devices running under Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system can now enjoy a new game from the popular publisher Rovio, namely Angry Birds Space.

A brand new episode in the Angry Birds saga, the new Angry Birds Space will provide users with the possibility to take down the pigs in outer space and in yet unseen galaxies.

Furthermore, the game brings to the spotlight new birds with superpowers, making the gaming experience more appealing and more addictive than before.

“After a giant claw kidnaps their eggs, the Angry Birds chase it into a wormhole and find themselves floating in a strange new galaxy – surrounded by space pigs! Luckily the Angry Birds have super powers of their own,” Rovio explains.

Windows Phone users who will download and install the new game for their devices will enjoy no less than 150 levels on new planets and in zero gravity in the outer space.

“Angry Birds Space features 150 interstellar levels on planets and in zero gravity, resulting in spectacular gameplay ranging from slow-motion puzzles to lightspeed destruction,” Rovio says.

In addition to the brand new birds and their brand new superpowers, some of the features of the new game include trick shots using planets’ gravity, zero-gravity space adventures, hidden bonus levels, beautifully detailed backgrounds and more.

Moreover, the game publisher promises regular updates for the game, so that users would benefit from more new special scenarios and brand new ways of punishing the pigs.

“With regular free updates, brand new birds, brand new superpowers, and a whole galaxy to explore, the sky is no longer the limit,” the game publisher notes.

The new Angry Birds Space game has been made available for download through the Windows Phone Store, and can be seen online on this page. The game is priced at $0.99, but users will also be able to try it out for free. However, it can be installed only on Windows Phone 8 devices.
