Download Amazon’s Free 'Deals' App for iOS

In addition to launching the Kindle Mac app this week, Amazon.com has announced Amazon Deals, a free application for iOS customers that offers access to daily deals from the Amazon.com Gold Box.

The app is intended to increase a customer’s chances of nabbing limited-time offers, as well as to provide deal notifications.

“Stay up-to-date with Amazon Gold Box Deals wherever you go and never miss another deal,” the app’s description reads over at the iTunes App Store.

“Amazon Deals for iPhone lets you check availability of current offers, schedule reminders, and purchase Lightning Deals and Gold Box Deals of the Day,” Amazon.com explains.

The company’s Lightning Deals represent significant discounts for just a short period of time and a limited quantity.

“The Amazon Deals app makes it possible to take advantage of these popular promotions from the convenience of your iPhone,” Amazon.com outlines.

Key features of the Amazon Deals app include:

- Up to date Deal of the Day and Lightning Deal offers and availability status
- Ability to purchase deals via Amazon’s secure mobile shopping experience
- View the day’s calendar of deal offers and set up alarms that remind you of individual deals
- Subscribe to Apple push notifications to receive alerts about future deals in specific categories
- Share great bargains you’ve found via e-mail, SMS, Facebook or Twitter.

The deals in Amazon’s Gold Box span the entire Amazon catalog. The day’s schedule of deals is published each morning.
