Music lovers who like to listen to their favorite artists from the cloud on their iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, have a new version of Amazon Cloud Player to install.

Released this week as a free update (not that the app itself costs any money), Amazon Cloud Player 1.2.0 features higher resolution album art, the ability to swipe to previous/next song in Now Playing cover art screen, and a bunch of performance enhancements.

Users who update will also notice that past Amazon MP3 purchases are now automatically accessible from Cloud Player, and there are a couple of fixes included as well – one for missing cloud music and another for Exception #59 error (hardcore users should know what that’s all about).

Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad, Amazon Cloud Player requires iOS 4.3 or later and can be downloaded for free via the link below.
