Today, ASRock has just unveiled a new addition to its Intel X99 chipset-based motherboard lineup, namely the powerful X99 Extreme11, and along with this release the producer has also made available all the drivers required by this device in order to provide maximum performance.

When it comes to compatibility, both the downloadable packages and the X99 motherboard can support either 32- and 64-bit architectures of Microsoft’s Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 operating systems.

As for the producers that developed the drivers, Intel plays a keyrole, as it provides the 10.0.20 Chipset files, the 10.0.25.1048 Management Engine (ME) package, and the 13.1.0.1058 Rapid Storage Technology drivers.

In addition to that, Intel also enables the full functionality of the LAN port through its 19.1.51.0 Ehternet Connections package. Moreover, along with ASMedia, Intel also provides proper USB 3.0 speeds to the available ports using the 3.0.0.20 (only for Windows 7) and 1.16.15.0 drivers, respectively.

Looking into the specs, we can see that the device has 10 SATA 3 connectors supported by the X99 Intel chipset, as well as 8 additional SAS-3 ports powered by the LSI SAS 3008 controller chip.

As a result, ASRock has provided 3 SAS and SAS preinstall driver versions, namely version 2.50.65.00, 2.50.65.01, 2.50.70.01 compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 8.1, respectively, which ensure that the additional ports are usable.

Therefore, if you want your powerful motherboard to work at its highest performance, then download ASRock X99 Extreme11 Drivers, apply them one by one, and don’t forget to perform a system reboot.
