14 DAY TRIAL // Apple’s AirPort Utility app for iOS devices, which enables you to manage your WiFi network and AirPort base stations, has received a new update to support the latest AirPort models.
AirPort Utility version 1.3 “allows you to configure and manage the new AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule with 802.11ac Wi-Fi,” Apple says.
In other words, the app is now able to connect to and manage the 2013 versions of AirPort Extreme and AirPort Time Capsule, the newest WiFi base stations released by Apple at WWDC this week.
The utility app works with all Apple 802.11n and 802.11ac Wi-Fi base stations, which includesAirPort Express, AirPort Extreme, and AirPort Time Capsule.
AirPort Utility 1.3 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad, and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
