If you ever wanted to use a stylus with Photoshop Touch on your iPad, prepare for some great news. Adobe has finally added support for such hardware as Pogo Connect, Jot Touch, and JaJa devices, which you can use to make pressure-sensitive edits now.

Adobe’s mobile implementation of Photoshop is at version 1.4 which is a free update to all existing users of Photoshop Touch on the iPad.

The new release is optimized for the iPad mini and offers smoother brush strokes, pressure-sensitive stylus support (for the aforementioned accessories), two new effects (Lens Flare and Stamp Pattern), improved grid layout for projects, tutorials, and images, new social ties (Facebook, Twitter, and “other registered apps”), quick access to the last 5 colors used, and bug fixes.

To use Pogo Connect, customers will require an iPad with Bluetooth 4.0 support (third-generation and up).
