Adobe has made available the stable builds for both Flash Player 11.6 and AIR 3.6. It took no less than six betas to get to this stage of development, each of them adding new improvements and repairs.

Codenamed Folsom, Adobe Flash Player 11.6 brings to the table an improved user interface for the full-screen permission dialog and Graphics Data Query, which can be employed by developers to generate complex Sprite Sheets at runtime. Security fixes are also on the list.

With Adobe AIR 3.6, the developer introduces support for loading and packaging multiple SWF on iOS in AOT mode (ahead-of-time). As such, developers benefit from better memory management as they can load up the necessary assets dynamically at all times from more than one SWF.
