Download AMD Catalyst Software Suite 10.9

Similar to its rival NVIDIA, Advanced Micro Devices has completed its latest driver release, the Catalyst 10.9 version, which includes the ATI display drives, HydraVision, the latest ATI Catalyst Control Center and the Southbridge/IXP driver.

Not too long ago, NVIDIA released the BETA version of its latest GeForce/ION driver release, which upgrades each of tis components, adds GTS 450 support and boosts performance in a number of games.

The AMD Catalyst Software Suite does similar things, only it deals with more than just the display driver.

Two of the main components included in the package are the ATI Catalyst Control Center version 8.771 and the ATI Radeon Display Driver 8.771.

The other two major features are the Southbridge/IXP Driver and the HydraVision for both Windows XP and Windows 7.

The driver, naturally, also fixed numerous bugs and issues related to Windows 7, such as flickering during 3D games over HDMI with QuadCrossfire enabled.
