14 DAY TRIAL // As somewhat expected, here are the new Application Profiles 12.1 CAP 1 from AMD.
If someone were to ask us, this release is rather scarce in news, as it only brings two things. First of all, it's the Star Wars: The Old Republic profile which brings better performance with CrossFire.
The second fix addresses some issues reported with Oil Rush; some of the reflections were displaying flickering in CrossFire configurations. Installing and running the new CAP 1 in conjunction with the AMD Catalyst 12.1 display driver is said to solve the problem.
Like always, the AMD CrossFireX support comes in a separate exe file so you have complete control over the profiles you're installing. Now, that 12.1 CAP1 is available, it seems like the next move is on Asder00, with his custom set of application profiles, hopefully bringing more games, as he always has.
