You may not have heard of it, but AIMP is a very popular media player. Version 3 of the application has freshly moved from beta stage of development to the first release candidate.
There are plenty of modifications that shaped up the current release, correcting previous issues or adding new features to various modules of the program. Among the most notable there is the DTS decoder which is now distributed separately from the player, ability to use IE proxy settings in the player as well as addition of macros for displaying parent directory name.
Improvements do not stop at these and include the possibility to disable per-pixel alpha support (semi-transparency). Users of Windows 7 (and ulterior versions) benefit from blur behind supports.
Along with the aforementioned advancement, the
