14 DAY TRIAL // Microsoft is offering fresh collections of personalization content celebrating the winter season to Windows 7 users via the Windows Personalization Gallery.
With the latest additions to the gallery, customers running Windows 7 can now download and enjoy no less than three theme packs that are celebrating winter and the holidays.
This week, the Redmond company made available for download the Winter and Snow Angels themes.
As customers are undoubtedly used to by now, both themes are designed to integrate seamlessly with Windows 7, providing two different sets of wallpapers for users, as well as separate settings for Windows Aero to complement the background images.
Earlier this month Santa came early with a theme pack titled Holiday Lights, bringing the Christmas spirit to Windows 7 desktops.
“Snowflakes fall as delicately as angel wings in this wintry Windows 7 theme,” reads the description of the Snow Angels theme.
In addition, the software giant notes about the Winter theme pack that it offers “Serene scenes of snowy landscapes grace.”
The Snow Angels theme packages a total of five images featuring what else but snow angels. The imagery was created by Harry Briggs, according to the metadata accompanying the wallpapers.
The Winter theme is a tad more rich in terms of content. Users will be able to enjoy no less than 13 beautiful images and lots and lots of snow.
Both themes can be downloaded free of charge, and customers running platforms other than Windows 7 can still grab the packages and extract the contents.
At the same time, they should also have a look at the Holiday Lights theme pack since it too provides an impressive collection of content that is bound to be the delight of people celebrating Christmas. Think of them as early gifts from Santa, especially since Christmas is only a week away.
