1Password, the go-to solution for storing all your passwords and credentials for automatic form filling, has reached version 4.2, which delivers a truckload of new features and enhancements.

AgileBits is really proud to announce that the company has “some great new features and fixes in this update based on your feedback.”

In other words, if you’ve been crying for a new feature or a fix, your prayers have (most likely) been heard.

The updated app adds Go and Fill bookmarks in 1Browser on iPad. The browser itself gets some new settings (including its very own settings menu), the ability to adjust auto-submit and fill-animation defaults, as well as options to clear the Web Data (e.g. Cookies).

You can now use Strong Password Generator in 1Browser (also new on iPad), auto-submit on login filling, some new fill animations, and an option to Copy to Clipboard in the Share menu.

Closing the last tab will now direct you back to vault mode, and you can expand search results across all fields. Results also include the primary URL of the item now.

Users can share items through Messages or email, while items that you share now include a special “Add to 1Password” link.

Other tweaks and fixes are listed below.

- 1PasswordAnywhere (1Password.html) will now display custom fields. - 1Password will prompt to open in the web view when launching 1Password with a URL in your clipboard. - Improved translations and the addition of Greek. - Improvements to Dropbox syncing. - Many bug fixes and improvements.
