Download 14 New Windows 7 Wallpapers

In parallel with the new themes that have been uploaded to the Windows Personalization Gallery, Microsoft also updated the wallpapers offered to customers.

The Redmond company has been continually refreshing the online hub designed to centralize personalization content, adding a plethora of new themes designed specifically for the latest iteration of the Windows client.

At the same time, the software giant has also made available new wallpapers via the Windows Personalization Gallery.

Earlier this week, 14 new wallpapers were offered to Windows users by the Redmond company, according to Microsoft’s Rob Margel.

“We have updated some of the available desktop backgrounds which you can download onto your PC on the Desktop backgrounds (wallpapers) page most from recent themepacks,” Margel stated.

Of course, customers running Windows 7 that have been keeping up with the updates served to the Windows Personalization Gallery will undoubtedly recognize some of the imagery.

All the background images offered by the software giant as standalone download were previously included into themes for Windows 7.

Some of the imagery was previously also featured on the background of the Bing home page, and subsequently into Bing themes for Windows 7.

But additional content comes from new theme packs, such as Imagination, and LostBears.

Of course, as theme packs, the imagery could only be installed on the latest version of Windows.

However, the standalone wallpapers do not come with any restrictions, and can be enjoyed by all users, irrespective of the actual operating system they’re running.

Still, if the 14 new backgrounds are not sufficient to satisfy customers, they can always grab the actual themes and extract the contents.

Theme packs function similarly to archives, in the sense in which users can access their contents, specifically the wallpapers with an archiver.
