DownTube has just received a new important update, this time comprising not only bug fixes, but also a few new options.

According to the official release notes published in the Store, the new version addresses an issue with the download page which was showing the downloaded videos even if the videos were deleted from the computer.

In addition, it packs a new option to let you watch YouTube clips if links are included in the comments section, as well as a revamped settings menu to give you the option to change parameters such as default video quality, number of search videos and others.

Of course, this new version can be installed on all versions of Windows 8 and comes at absolutely no cost for all users.
