DownTube, one of the top YouTube downloaders in the Windows Store right now, has just received an update that comprises several bug fixes and new options.

The release notes reveal that version 1.0.0.12 packs several UI changes and brings IMDB and trailers links to movies.

In addition, the app has moved the location of the play/pause and full screen buttons to the bottom panel to provide a better video watching experience. What’s more, DownTube is said to provide faster movies and videos loading, as each request is now started in a separate thread.

Of course, the app continues to work flawlessly on all Windows 8 builds, including desktop versions such as x86 and x64, but also the tablet-oriented Windows RT.
