DownTube is one of the best apps available in the Store right now that allow you to download clips from YouTube without leaving the Modern UI, therefore it’s no surprise that so many people are using it.

The application just got better today, as update delivered through the Store comes with several feature improvements and bug fixes.

For example, the new version adds pause and resume options to downloads made on YouTube, as well as several UI redesigns. At the same time, it fixes a bug causing automatic resume of unfinished tasks and some other bugs reported by users.

DownTube continues to work smoothly on all Windows 8 versions out there, including the desktop and the tablet-oriented flavors also running on Microsoft’s very own Surface RT tablet.
