Dovado has just outed a new firmware package targeted at its routers, namely version 7.1.0, which promises to add new features and enhancements, as well as support for new USB modems.

Specifically speaking, the release is developed for Dovado’s Tiny, PRO, GO, and DOMA routers, and consists of 2 download records for each of the devices containing files compatible with the MAC and Windows operating systems.

Version 7.1.0 adds the new “Internet On” and “Internet Off” SMS commands, and for the Tiny, GO, and DOME products, adds the Internet Scheduler option that controls the time at which users can or cannot access the Internet (Dovado PRO already benefits from this feature),

In addition to that, “Groups of days” can now be created and used, Home Automation Events → Aliases → Groups from the PRO model is editable, and the Web UI has been widened. Moreover, the SMS feature now works on the Huawei E3276 models and most of NETGEAR’s modems.

Furthermore, the firmware adds support for new 3G and 4G USB modems such as Huawei E5776s, E5251-S, and E355, and Alcatel X500D. NETGEAR’s AC754S and AC760S, and ZTE’s MF91D, MF93D, MF821D, 823, and MF669 are also supported by this release.
