Dovado has made available a new firmware package targeted at its routers, namely version 7.2.2 compatible with the Tiny, PRO, GO, and DOMA units, which includes various changes that will improve the devices’ overall performance.

Specifically speaking, the newly released update fixes the DHCP scope problem from the LAN settings page, the GPS positioning feature, and the Home Automation self-learning function.

In addition to that, the 4G/LTE Manual Frequency Selection issue encountered while using Optus Australia operator has also been resolved.

When it comes to new modems, through firmware 7.2.2 the ZTE MF91D mobile hotspot and the Vodafone K5150 4G USB modem are supported. Also, the ZTE MF730M, TP-LINK MA180, and MA260 3G USB modems can also be used along with Dovado’s units.

As for installing this release, get and extract the proper downloadable archive for your router model, log into the unit’s web interface, and go to Upgrade → HTTP Upgrade page.

Click the “Browse” button, navigate and select the .bin file from the newly-created folder, and click “Start HTTP Upgrade.”

Bear in mind that, while the update is in progress, you mustn’t use the router’s buttons or interrupt the process in any way, as this might result in an update failure that can cause serious damage to the device.

That being said, download Dovado Router Firmware 7.2.2 for the appropriate model, take into account all aforementioned aspects, and upgrade your unit.
