DoudouLinux, a distribution build for children, that strives to make computer usage and other assorted activities a lot more fun and interesting, is now at version 2012-03.

DoudouLinux 2012-03, despite being a development version is still based on Debian Squeeze, the current stable release of Debian. A final version of this operating system should be available in the summer.

Highlights of DoudouLinux 2012-03:

· Many new applications and games were added; · Deep code refactoring under the skin due to the ARM port; · The look & feel of the OS was improved compared to the previous development version; · Size of icons in advanced activities is now computed at boot to occupy around half the screen area; · Playlists for online music and videos using contents from archive.org were added.
