Even if DoudouLinux 2011.11 is based on the current stable release of Debian Squeeze, it still requires a lot of work. The final version should be out sometime in 2012, perhaps in the summer.
Even is DoudouLinux 2011.11 is deemed to be a stable version, there are quite a few bugs remaining, particularly regarding to installation and reboot/shutdown that may hangs of the operating system.
On the good side though, there is a new application available in DoudouLinux 2011.11, called PixFrogger, the splash during boot is now animated, autologin can be activated, all the hard-disks are mounted read-only to prevent children from writing on them, and Verbiste is now on the Italian CD version.
