A MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) game with Marvel Comics characters is now in development at South Korean firm Smilegate, as Disney has just signed a partnership with the company to release the multiplayer game in Asian territories.

MOBA titles, like Dota or League of Legends, have become extremely popular in recent years and two impressive games will soon be released in the genre - Valve's Dota 2 and Blizzard's All-Stars.

Now, it seems that Disney, the parent company of Marvel Comics, wants in on the action, as the company has just signed a deal with South Korean company Smilegate to create a Marvel MOBA title, according to MMO Culture.

Although the game will now enter development under the Project PK name, the title is expected to appear in 2014.

Sadly, while a Dota-like experience with Marvel characters might sound great, the online game is apparently scheduled to be released only in Asian territories.
