Valve has released another update for its famous MOBA game

Dota 2, Valve's own take on the famous Dota mod for Warcraft 3, has just received another update for all platforms, including Linux.

Valve has announced that Dota 2 for Linux and Mac OS X is available for download and has issued yet another upgrade for this MOBA title (multiplayer online battle arena).

According to the changelog, the ingot drop rate has been doubled, a chance of finding the Redhoof Courier in the Bloom Harvest and Bloom Bounty Jade Token rewards has been added, the Shopkeeper in the Year Beast fight now has limited stock of Firework Mines and Scare the Beast flags, and Wraith King’s Vampiric Aura now has no effect against the Year Beast.

Dota 2’s Linux minimum system requirements are Ubuntu 12.04, dual-core processor from Intel or AMD at 2.8 GHz, 4GB RAM, 8GB hard drive space, nVidia GeForce 8600/9600GT, ATI/AMD Radeon HD2600/3600 (Graphic Drivers: nVidia 310, AMD 12.11), OpenGL 2.1, and OpenAL-compatible sound card.
