14 DAY TRIAL // Dota 2's upcoming New Bloom Festival 2015 in-game even will delight players with a variety of free goodies, such as a redesigned map, a new item drop system, or an item recycling mechanic, but also premium goodies like fresh hero sets, a music pack, and many more.
February is already a big month for Valve's Dota 2 multiplayer online battle arena experience, as fans were able to enjoy the Dota 2 Asian Championships in Shanghai last week, one of the biggest eSports tournaments in the history of the game.
Now, Valve is preparing the New Bloom Festival 2015 event, which is set to bring forth a new hero - Winter Wyvern - but also an Arcana set for Crystal Maiden and a variety of other things.
New Bloom 2015 brings many free goodies
After talking about the hero and the customization set, Valve confirms on the official website that the special New Bloom Festival of 2015 is also going to bring forth a New Bloom-themed map, with a variety of Asian-themed elements, including fireworks for the end of a match.
The International 4 Compendium owners will also get the long-awaited alternate voice pack for Spectre, but what's really important is that Valve is going to overhaul, once again, the item drop system. The existing ultra-rare items will become a bit more common, meaning that more fans will be able to receive full sets, bundles, treasures, and more at the end of a game.
In addition to these rewards, there will be a new drop system that should happen more frequently and brings individual items that won't be marketable but can be offered as a gift to a friend.
Item recycling is also back, as you can forge a Charm of the Crucible jewel by recycling 10 unwanted items. Use the charm in a match to predict your victory, and if you become victorious, you'll get a Treasure of the Crucible Jewel that can offer a hero item set or even an Arcana.
New premium content is also coming
New item sets for heroes, a new music pack, and a Year Beast loading screen are also coming as part of the New Bloom Festival and will soon be available for purchase in the in-game store.
