Dota 2 Launches This Summer, Valve Confirms
The online game might be released before the start of the International event in August
Valve has officially confirmed that Dota 2 will be released this summer, prior to the start of the International tournament in August.Dota 2 has been in development for quite some time, and it's currently in a closed beta for the PC via Valve's Steam service.
According to the latest issue of PC Gamer, via Reddit, and thanks to a response from Valve's Erik Johnson, it's now been confirmed that Dota 2 will be released officially this summer.
The magazine said that Dota 2 would be rolled out ahead of the start of the new International tournament in August, and Johnson told ValveTime that this is the current plan for the multiplayer online battle arena title.
No other details are available, but fans should expect to hear more about big changes coming to Dota 2 ahead of its public release soon.
