Valve has released a set of official screenshots showcasing the major changes coming to the layout of the game's map in Dota 2 patch 6.82, from the new Roshan crater to the revised jungle areas and much more.

Dota 2 is set to receive one of its biggest updates yet, in the form of patch 6.82, dubbed Rekindling, which includes changes to certain heroes like Shadow Fiend, Bloodseeker, or Phantom Lancer, but also plenty of balance changes.

Another major aspect of the update is the set of changes coming to the actual map of the game, as plenty of different tweaks and major swaps have been made, according to the official website.

First and foremost, as you can see in the screenshot above, the Roshan pit has been moved around, so that it can be accessed easily by both the Dire and Radiant teams.

Major changes have also been made to the jungle areas in both the Dire and Radiant sides of the map, while special paths have been added to some zones.

The Fountain area in each of the team bases is located at a higher elevation, meaning enemies can't see within it. Its vision, attack range, and true sight effect have also been increased overall, so that the so-called "fountain camping" phenomenon is much harder.
