DotA Guide: Bradwarden - The Centaur Warchief Introduction

Defense of the Ancients aka DotA remains one of the most popular custom made maps for Warcraft III. To allow players a better understanding of this complex and sometimes intricate game here is a hero guide.

Centaur Warchief is a strength hero and you can recruit him at the Sentinel Tavern. Bradwarden is renowned for his tanking power, while his passive return skill can deal reasonable amount of damage.

Aside from the Centaur’s ability to tank, he also provides a great disable and a great nuke, giving him the ability to gang even in early game, and initiate team fights with Blink Dagger.

Let's find out a little more about where he came from: "Gifted with a tremendous body and an ever-growing fortitude, Bradwarden's courage is only matched by the size of his heart. Prophesized as a savior by the oracles of his tribe, Bradwarden is the living token of the allegiance of the centaurs to the Sentinel.

He swings his axe with massive force, sometimes even hurting himself when doing so. The ground trembles every time he slams his hoof and his reflexes are impossible to surpass; allowing him to retaliate just after being attacked.

Bradwarden is decided to fulfill his destiny, and he knows that the upcoming battle will become his ultimate challenge."

His awesome skills underline some of the roles this hero can take ia fight: ganger, stunner, fight innitiator:

- Hoof Stomp (Shortkey F): Our hero slams the ground, stunning (2/2.25/2.5/2.75) and damaging (100/150/200/250) nearby enemy land units.

- Double Edge (Shortkey D): Centaur summons a tremendous amount of inner strength and releases a very powerful attack. It can only be done at 200 range, and does 175/250/325/400 damage, both the Warchief and the enemy unit.

Be careful because this spell can prove to be lethal even for the user. Double Edge interrupts channeling spells and items.

- Return (Shortkey R): The Centaur Warchief immediately counters every attack against him with a swift strike. It will return 10 + 26/34/42/50% of Centaur's Strength as damage. This ability will also damage anything that attacks the Warchief, including towers.

- Great Fortitude (Shortkey G): The Warchief`s mammoth body is capable of absorbing great amounts of punishment. This passive skills will add +12/24/36 Strength.

The starting items depend on the heroes picked by the opponent team, while later items should include: Hood of Defiance, Vanguard, Blade Mail and most importantly: Blink Dagger!
