Tori Spelling, daughter of famous television producer Aaron Spelling, is engaged, People and Us Weekly magazines reported on Tuesday.
This is just months after separating from her first husband.
Charlie Shanian, Tori's former husband, filed for divorce in October, just a little more than a year after they got married.
Her new love is actor Dean McDermott, who has been dating her for several months. He proposed on Christmas Eve in Toronto.
McDermott, on the other hand, has been married for 12 years to Mary Jo Eustace with whom he has a child. They divorced in September.
The couple declared in a joint statement to People :
We're so incredibly happy and in love. We cannot wait to start our lives together.
But it was Us Weekly that first reported the engagement
Tori Spelling, the teen star from Beverly Hills 90210 that played Donna, is now 32, and McDermott is 39. They met earlier this year, while working on the TV movie 'Mind Over Murder'.
