Real estate mogul and television personality Donald Trump, aka The Donald, is seriously considering making a career change and going into politics, by running in the presidential elections of 2012.

As OMG Yahoo! puts it, every morning The Donald looks in the mirror, he sees the potential future president of the United States of America staring back at him.

Useless to say, should he decide to run in the campaign, there’s no doubt in Trump’s mind that he will also win – or so one may infer from his recent statements.

“For the first time in my life, I’m actually thinking about it (running for president),” Trump, who declares himself a Republican, says, as cited by the aforementioned media outlet.

He can’t say for now when he’ll know for certain whether he will run or not. However, this is not the type of decision that one makes in a hurry, these things do take time.

“Well, I’ll make it over a period of time,” he says when asked when he estimates he will have made the decision..

“I am a Republican but have great respect for what the Tea Party has done because they have brought to light what’s going on,” Trump goes on to say.

Precisely because of this, someone like him is needed because he is convinced he can take the country out of financial turmoil – and onto prosperity.

“I mean, we have trillion-dollar deficits… The country is going bankrupt, let’s face it,” Trump says in the same interview.

If he had a choice, he’d “love not to do it” but, as things are, he really doesn’t have the luxury to say no. “The United States doesn’t really make things anymore,” The Donald states.

According to the New York Daily News, Trump is not the only one thinking of going into politics by aiming for the presidency no less.

Robert Burck, also known as New York tourist sensation the Naked Cowboy, put on some clothes and shed his trademark undies and guitar the other day to announce his candidacy in the 2012 elections.

I am a democrat, but, Donald Trump might be able to bring some jobs to this country and stop outsourcing all of them...remove the illegals , secure the border...and do something about the credit reporting agencies...did you know equifax and trans union have outsourced all of your personal information to india and the likes of other third world countries...remember how immigrants steal your i.d....this is an atrocity. maybe the Donald will win and do something about the border and the drug cartel instead of us giving them billions of dollars.
