“Stupid politicians” are bringing the plague to the US, real estate mogul says on Twitter

Donald Trump is the kind of man who has never and will never mince his words, which is the number one reason his supporters will never stop saying he should pursue a career in politics because he’d be the only one to speak the truth. Well, The Trump has a few thoughts on the current Ebola outbreak as well.

Two Americans have been infected while in Africa on humanitarian work and one of them has already returned to the states: Dr. Kent Brantly landed in Atlanta from Liberia in a specially outfitted plane and will receive treatment in confinement at Emory University.

Aid worker Nancy Writebol, who has also contracted the virus, is expected to return home for treatment sometime next week.

If it were up to Donald Trump, both would be left in Africa because he doesn’t believe Ebola patients should be allowed into the US, even with all the precautions: that’s the surest way to bring the plague here too.

In a series of very angry tweets, the real estate mogul and television personality blasts the “stupid politicians” for not seeing to the interest of the nation by allowing these two Ebola patients into the country.

“Stop the EBOLA patients from entering the U.S. Treat them, at the highest level, over there. THE UNITED STATES HAS ENOUGH PROBLEMS!” Trump tweets. The all-CAPS are for added drama.

Then there’s this to consider: these people, as regrettable as it is that they got sick, traveled to Africa because they wanted to. In other words, getting the virus is all on them so the other Americans, who don’t have the choice to flee the country in case of an outbreak, should not have to pay for their choice.

“The U.S. cannot allow EBOLA infected people back. People that go to far away places to help out are great-but must suffer the consequences!” Donald says. “The U.S. must immediately stop all flights from EBOLA infected countries or the plague will start and spread inside our ‘borders.’ Act fast!”

He’s not the only one to think this way, as it happens. Trump’s tweets became a trending topic shortly after he posted them, which prompted even more responses than he would have got under normal circumstances.

Of course, some accuse him of being a heartless man for proposing to let 2 people (humanitarians, no less) battle the disease among strangers, without getting the best medical assistance their government can provide for them.

There are also those who agree with Trump: it might sound heartless, but these 2 people made their choice and they should suffer the consequences for it – anyplace but back home, where they might make others sick too.

Here are a couple more things Donald Trump had to say on the topic.
