Donald Trump says he turned down Lindsay Lohan for latest season of Celebrity Apprentice

She was just recently rumored to be considering a stint on Dancing With the Stars; now, Lindsay Lohan is said to have wanted to be on Celebrity Apprentice – and Donald Trump had to turn her away.

The Donald spoke to Life & Style just recently about the cast for the latest season of Celebrity Apprentice and, of course, the rumor that Lohan was once interested did come up.

Surprisingly enough, the mogul and television personality is not denying it. He actually confirms that Lindsay wanted on the show but he had to turn her down because of her drug problems.

“[The Lohans] approached me, and we did talk about it. It’s just not the right time,” The Donald tells the aforementioned magazine.

Lindsay needs to get her life back on track first, stay clean and focus on her health. If she’ll want to do Celebrity Apprentice later, then OK, Trump will have her.

“Lindsay has to straighten herself out first. And I know Dina, she’s a really lovely woman. I don’t think she gets very much credit – she’s tried,” Trump goes on to say.

“I know Michael a little bit. It could happen in the future, but right now we need to see Lindsay get straightened out,” he adds.

Life & Style also has the complete cast for this season and it includes as follows: La Toya Jackson, Lisa Rinna, Hope Dworaczyk, Nikki Taylor, Star Jones, Dionne Warwick, Meatloaf, Gary Busey, Mark McGrath, David Cassidy, Richard Hatch, Jose Canseco, John Rich, Lil Jon, Nene Leakes and Marlee Matlin.

As we also told you in September, friends were saying from back then that Lindsay needed to take a breather to take proper care of herself.

Since she’s seen her movie career take a turn for the worse, Lindsay has been desperately trying to get back in the game, much to the detriment of her personal life.

She needs to put all work aside and just focus on her well-being. After she’s better, she can get back in the saddle, friends were saying back then – a statement The Donald is reiterating now.
