Don't Starve, the procedural survival game from Klei Entertainment, is getting ready to debut this week for the PS4, but the studio isn't ruling out a possible PS Vita edition that might be launched in the future.

Don't Starve appeared last year for the PC platform after spending some time in open beta testing via Steam Early Access.

Since then, Klei Entertainment has worked hard on new themed updates but also on a PS4 edition that will debut later this week around the world.

While it's still putting the finishing touches on the PS4 version, the studio isn't ruling out a possible Don't Starve edition for the PS Vita handheld platform.

While talking with a fan on Twitter, Klei revealed that "it would be neat" to bring Don't Starve to the PS Vita and that it's "looking at if it's possible to do."

As of yet, no word on when or if such an adaptation is coming.
