Old rockers don't just disappear, like other modern one-night stars do. One of the proofs for this statement is the new Guns'n Roses album and tour.
In January, Axl Rose, young girls' eternal imaginary lover, told Rolling Stone magazine he would please his fans this year with new music. Some believed him, some others didn't. But it seems like he was right!
Actually, it's not the music that is so new, but more the way of presenting it. After 1993's "The Spaghetti Incident?" including some of the band's greatest hits, it took a whole decade to come up with a new album. The paradoxically titled "Chinese Democracy" followed. But since then until now, no live shows for the American stages from Guns'n Roses.
This April 21st though, tickets for the next New York concerts from May 15th and 17th shall go on sale. After three years of absence, they afford to ask fans to pay more than 60$ for one ticket.
Axl himself admits that the new songs don't resemble at all the usual stuff coming from Guns'n Roses. This is a good thing though, since surprises, when they arise from names like Axl's, are usually pleasant ones.

The new album now has 32 songs, but the guys will have to cut it shorter to 13. "Better" and "There Was a Time" are the ones that leaked online, and also Axl's favorite songs.
After the two New York shows, Guns'n Roses will play for European nostalgics, the first date being May 27th in Lisbon, Portugal. During the summer, they will also play in Budapest, Milan, Dublin, Prague or Paris, among many other European cities.
