Victoria Beckham has decided to turn all Spice Girls into Posh-lookalike skeletons. And believe me, this can't be good news at any level, seeing how the people who paid good money to see the girl band on tour this winter didn't bank on being presented with a band of skeletons parading around the stage in skimpy outfits. However, it seems that Victoria's influence on her former and current band mates is bigger than we imagined - as it looks like her master "slim them down" plan is working flawlessly.
Ironically, however, Victoria recently spoke out against the speculations connected to her eating habits, claiming that she in fact maintains a healthy diet: "I think there's a big difference between someone having an eating disorder and someone who is controlled about what they eat" she said. "There's a big difference, and every now and then of course I
go out and eat what I like". Every now and then being here the equivalent of once every two years, I think - and even then I'm sure she gas a guilt trip that lasts for days. "I do try to be quite disciplined in the way that I eat" she stated for People magazine.
Victoria's band mate Geri Halliwell seems determined to rival her in the size-zero debate and we've all noticed how for a long time now Geri was a completely different woman from the lady with the voluptuous figure that she displayed in that famously Union Flag minidress she used to wear. And despite looking like a walking collection of very slim body parts, Geri insists on claiming that there's no Spicy rivalry behind her notorious weight loss.

"They always say that but no, not really. The point of training is that I just want to be fit on tour. You have to sing and dance and you want to be in the best shape that you can be. When you are on tour, there is nowhere to hide. You are singing and dancing in skimpy outfits, I want to feel comfortable in my body and have stamina". Well, and I suppose some competition for Victoria is not such a bad thing after all - but really, I won't have her making the rest of the girls feel like they're not fit enough. I bet she brags about her figure and acts like someone who's way too full of herself.
And it looks like Geri herself has made the shocking discovery that skinny doesn't equal sexy all the time. She once said of her love-life: "When I was skinny it was like a desert. The minute I got a few pounds on me it changed".
Victoria and Geri, alongside band mates Mel B Melanie Chisholm and Emma Bunton, will launch the highly anticipated comeback in Vancouver, Canada, on December 2 and they will also perform in many other locations, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York, San Jose, Shanghai, Madrid, Beijing and Cape Town. And we sure hope it won't be a size zero feast, or I have a feeling people will be pretty pissed off. I mean that.
