The tablet market in India is getting more diversified than ever. Domo has unveiled yet another slate that will appeal to the average consumer, satisfied by minimalistic features.

Domo has baptized its new spawn the Slate X3G and packs with it a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels. The power comes from a 1GHz quad-core Cortex 7 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM.

Not spectacular, but extremely useful for text processing, streaming of video or social media browsing. Like most middle-range slates out there, the Slate X3G will be Android fueled with version 4.2.2. Jelly Bean.

The slate ships with 8GB storage plus a 16GB microSD card. If more is needed, there's the microSD card which will beef up storage space up to 64GB.

Domo added two cameras in the Slate X3G, a 5-megapixel rear one equipped with a CMOS HawkView sensor and a 2-megapixel frontal one.

Since video calling has become really popular among mobile users, the slate also adds SIM support for keeping in touch with people that matter in your life.

Battery-wise, the X3G isn't that impressive, providing up to 5 hours of juice of browsing time only. We guess it could be worst.

If the slate has grabbed you attention so far, head on quickly to HomeShop18, because they are offering a discount as NDTV.com reports.

From September 19 to 29, shoppers can grab the tablet for only Rs 9,999 / $160 / €118.5. Normally, the tablet is priced Rs 12,999 / $209 / €154, so what are you waiting for?
