14 DAY TRIAL // Dolphin Browser for Android has just entered a Play Store beta program, the same as other popular applications on Google’s mobile operating system have.
The purpose of this initiative is to provide users with access to the latest enhancements and features of the application before they are rolled out to all devices out there.
Those who would like to participate in the program will have to register for it, though the process is a very simple one.
Basically, it all starts with joining the Dolphin Browser Beta program community on Google+, via this link. As soon as this has been done, users should go to this page and click on the “Become a Tester” button.
“Dolphin Browser invites you to become a tester of early unreleased versions of Dolphin Browser, because you are a member of Dolphin Browser Beta Testers,” the company notes.
“As a tester you will receive test versions of Dolphin Browser through app updates. Test versions may be unstable and contain bugs.”
As soon as the registration process has been completed, users will be provided with the possibility to download the beta flavor of the browser from the Google Play Store.
However, you should make sure that you register to the program and access the Play store with the same account you have on the phone.
The latest beta version of the Dolphin Browser is said to be 10.0.4, which includes the following enhancements:
- 21 languages support - Tab list animation optimization - Dolphin Home Edit support - Stability improvement - cache to SD, crash bugs - Fixed a critical bug
Users can join the testing program regardless of the market they are in, the Dolphin Browser team also says.
“Special welcome to users from different countries using different languages to join this beta test! We appreciate your participation in our Beta program. All your feedback is highly valuable to us,” the team wrote on Google+.
