Owners of a mobile phone running under Google's Android 2.0+ operating system have now yet another appealing option to choose from when it comes to the mobile browsers available for their devices. We're referring here to a new flavor of the popular Dolphin Browser (the first solution to bring pinch-to-zoom to Google's mobile operating system), which has just arrived in the Android Market under the name of Dolphin Browser HD.

The new software solution is meant to offer Android users a new and enhanced experience when it comes to navigating around the Internet directly from their mobile phones. Unfortunately, the application has been released only for the devices powered by Android 2.0 or higher, which means that there will be a wide range of users unable to benefit from its features.

Among the features the new Dolphin Browser HD comes around with, we can count: - Versatile Add-ons - Multi-touch Pinch Zoom - Thumbnails Flick Menu - Tabbed Browsing - YouTube Downloader - Gesture URL Commander - Bookmarks Sorting

The finger-pinch zoom is said to be quite smooth, while the tabbed browsing is a great feature for mobile phone users. Moreover, it seems that most of the browser's features have been tucked away, which means that users will be able to enjoy almost the entire full screen for viewing content. Another highly appealing feature should prove to be the ability to play YouTube videos, which is coupled with the possibility to download clips on the microSD card.

The Dolphin Browser HD reportedly comes with improved RSS handling and subscriptions, while the add-on gallery includes items like Read It Later, AdBlock Plus, and others more. Those interested in learning additional details on the new mobile application should take a look at the video below, in which the developer presents the solution. The Dolphin Browser HD is already available for download from the Android Market, for free on Android 2.0+ handsets.

The older version of Dolphin Browser is available for download from Softpedia too, via this link.
