Dolphin Browser Beta is the highest performing HTML5 browser available today, developers claim. After Dolphin Browser 9.0 proved to be a real setback for the team behind one of the most popular mobile browsers, developers decided to try out new things.

As the name suggests, Dolphin Browser Beta is still a work in progress, though Android users can now download the application via Google Play store.

The latest version of Dolphin Browser Beta contains various stability and performance improvements, along with the Overview mode, which offers better performance in overview with fitting screen to width and tap to zoom.

In addition, with the new application users will be able to benefit from faster loading. Developers integrated the ability to pre-load site info so it is ready when users need it. The update also adds Magnifier, Private Mode, Autofit and the ability to save images.

Dolphin Browser Beta 1.1.1 is now available as a free download and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.3 and up. Check it out here.
