Dolphin has released the latest versions of its web browser for the iPhone and iPad. It’s a new-year’s-resolution release that delivers tons of enhancements and new features.

“Like those of you who have resolved to improve your life in 2012, we’ve improved our user experience with cleaner and lighter Speed Dial & Webzine features as well as a new Dolphin landing page for the iPad,” say the developers of Dolphin Browser.

The first change highlighted in their blog entry is a revamped “Featured” columns, which makes it easier to get the recommendations you want on Webzine.

According to the developers, “you can customize your Webzine by category and liven up your daily tech columns with some Art & Design.”

A “What’s Hot” column serves users who wish to search articles and columns in every category, and each article’s text and images have been cleaned up to make it easier to read.

There are four brand new Webzine publications to be had - Mobile Indian, GottaBeMobile, 148 Apps, PPCGeeks, TUAW, and IntoMobile - and the collection is growing still. “Check out these great publications and add them to your Webzine,” says the studio.

“Thank you so much for your feedback and support in 2011! It’s you that inspire us to make Dolphin better and we welcome your feedback,” the team of developers at Dolphin Browser concludes.

According to the release notes on the iTunes App Store, iPad users also get a brand new gesture interface and process, and a few fixed bugs, in version 3.0. On the iPhone, the team also fixed some user-reported crash bugs on iOS 5.

Dolphin is not a universal app, meaning iPhone and iPad users need to download separate versions to enjoy its features. Use the links below for that.
