When found, Zipper was both frightened and shaking

A pug-beagle mix was recently rescued after having allegedly spent a total of six days trapped inside a car without access to food or water.

The vehicle inside which Zipper was found had been left in a parking lot in Seattle towards the beginning of last week.

Local guards maintain that it took almost a week since the vehicle was abandoned in this location until they came to realize that the dog was trapped inside it.

With the help of police officers, the guards who first spotted Zipper managed to free it from the car.

Once the dog was out of the vehicle, they gave it some food and water. The Seattle Animal Shelter later took the dog into their custody.

The Inquisitr says that, although they managed to find the man who was responsible for looking after Zipper, police officers were unable to file any charges.

This was because they lacked the evidence needed to prove that the dog had in fact spent six days trapped inside the vehicle.

Here's hoping the police will soon get the evidence they need, and that this man will be made to pay for his actions.
