Only recently, Dean Edwards from Bloxwich, Walsall, England was sentenced to six months in prison for having killed his two-and-a-half-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Apparently, the man beat the dog to death, meaning that the blows Diesel received caused him to suffer fatal injuries to his internal organs.

Hoping that he might get away with it, Dean Edwards saw fit to throw Diesel from the 15th floor of a tower block in which it was living, sources say.

Later on, when both police officers and neighbors came knocking at his door, he tried to argue that Diesel fell out of the balcony. However, the police proved that this was not the case.

“The prosecution's case is that this man killed the dog and threw it from the balcony. He attempted to cover up the act by fabricating a fall,” prosecutor Nick Sutton explained.

Naturally, Dean Edwards is no longer allowed to keep dogs as pets.
