It's no longer a secret that Google and Yahoo have been engaged in a conflict in which both companies are trying to introduce more and more services and to attract an increasing number of users.

So far, there hasn't been one service launched by any of them that didn't have an equivalent
on the other side.
Google Print is one of the few services for which Yahoo doesn't have a counteroffer, but this is about to change.

Yahoo is trying to take advantage of Google Print's past experiences, for the portal wants to avoid at all costs the endless talks about copyrights.

With Google Print currently on hold, the Yahoo project has every chance to succeed. The only problem is that Yahoo's service focuses mainly on titles and works which are publicly available and because of that, users might not be too interested in them.

In conclusion, Google Print will be much more interesting and useful than the collection prepared by Yahoo, provided that it solves its copyright issues.
