Obviously, Yahoo Messenger, one of the most popular application of this kind, is placed among the favorites to win the competition, currently being placed on the 3rd position. Digsby leads the "Best Instant Messenger Experience" while Meebo, the service that lets you talk with your friends on multiple networks straight from your browser, comes the second.
In a blog post published on the company's official Yahoo Messenger blog, Sarah Bacon, Product Manager, asks people to vote for their application in order to grab the grand prize.
