Does Rocky Balboa Still Have What It Takes?

Another of Hollywood's legends is preparing to hit the big screens and, hopefully, to make a major comeback. We are talking, of course, about veteran actor Sylvester Stallone and his most popular character ever, Rocky.

The latest film, also known as 'Rocky Balboa' or 'Rocky VI', has completed shooting and the producers already released a teaser movie trailer. Although if focuses only on Stallone's eyes and the image presented is voiced-over by the main character, no one can deny that the movie seems to be pretty interesting and worthy to see.

The sixth part of the series presents us a retired, middle-aged man, who is the happy owner of a restaurant where people come to hear the champion's great stories about his bygone glory days. His wife died of cancer, his son has grown apart from him and life reserves him little to welcome.

On seeing one of his earlier fights, Rocky realizes that what's missing is the sport, boxing. Because, in the end, it doesn't all revolve around winning but more around the feeling given by the boxing-ring. So, he decides to give it another try. The question remains: is Rocky Balboa able to master the ring, does he still have what it takes to be a champion?

In another order of ideas, we must say that, although still looking good at the age of 60, Sylvester no longer has a body that pleases the eye. His skin and the muscles that made him so famous are all wrinkled and loose, making the viewer wonder if what they say about Hollywood, that in showbiz one ages a year what others age in five, is actually true.
