Have a friend that is also a Mac fan?

The guys at Throwboy have designed a set of small pillows that complement the Mac OS X Dock. Pillows are based on application icons such as the Finder, iTunes, iChat, iPhoto, the Dashboard, and more.

“We know your computer is more than a tool,” Throwboy says on its website. “It's a constant companion, a friend. A gateway to the great heights of 'risqué.' The hub to your very life and existence. But we think it should be more. It should be snuggled close to you as you sleep, and clutched tightly in your clammy hands during that especially gruesome scene in The Ring. And, since polycarbonate and aluminum hardly lend themselves to cuddly-comfort, we've got the solution.”

That solution is this set of throw-pillows called “the Icon Pillow Collection.” The pillows are hand-crafted and filled with polyester fibers (100% Fleece), according to Throwboy. As the headline reads, the pillows should make any Mac fan rejoice, should they be offered as Christmas presents.

However, a sign on Throwboy's website says that pillows take about 3-6 weeks to ship, as the hand-making process takes quite a bit of time. So you should hurry up getting one, if you want to make a friend or family member happy – you might get lucky and have it delivered before Christmas. The pillows cost US $29 individually, or US $149 for the whole set (six pillows).

“Thanks to those who have helped us start and to those that were patient enough to wait for us to finish,” Throwboy also notes on its website. “We're thrilled with how far we've come and can't wait to see what the wonderful world of pillows holds in store for us.”
