People who grew up watching the “Back to the Future” trilogy are going to remember that Doc Brown, the crazy weird scientist played so brilliantly by Christopher Lloyd, ended up at a certain point in his time-traveling adventures in the Wild West.

Well, it seems that one of those people who grew up watching the same movies was Seth MacFarlane, because he decided to have a cameo appearance of Doc Brown in his latest Wild West comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West.”

In the TV spot trailer for the movie that is set to become this summer's top comedy in theaters, MacFarlane pays a funny tribute for the “Back to the Future” actor. At the very end of the video, you'll see MacFarlane's character walking in on Doc Brown in a shed, as he's trying to hide his DeLorean, the famed time machine, under a tarp.

When questioned about the weird contraption, Brown says with a guilty look on his face that it's “a weather experiment.” The creator of “Family Guy” hinted at the collaboration with a photo he Tweeted, showing him and Christopher Lloyd dressed in period clothes on set.

The movie “A Million Ways to Die in the West” is set to open in theaters on May 30 in the United States. It also stars Charlize Theron, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harris.
